General Things

The Thought of school tomorrow actually makes me want to cry. I sound like such a typical teenager who hates school but its true.

On Tuesday my whole year have to go to collage and we were given three subjects and its just a little tester to see whether we like it or not. I got beauty, science and social science which is good I guess. It could've been worse... I could have got P.E

5 Tips for Preventing Acne

1. Keep your face clean. Whether or not you have acne, it's important to wash your face twice daily to remove impurities, dead skin cells, and extra oil from your skin's surface. Washing more often than twice daily is not necessarily better; it may do more harm than good. Use warm, not hot, water and a mild facial cleanser. Using a harsh soap (like deodorant body soap) can hurt the already inflamed skin and cause more irritation.
Avoid scrubbing your skin harshly with a washcloth, exfoliating glove, or loofah (a coarse-textured sponge). Gently wash it with your clean hands or a very soft cloth. Always rinse well, and then dry your face with a clean towel. (Toss the towel in the laundry hamper, as dirty towels spread bacteria.)
2. Moisturize. Many acne products contain ingredients that dry the skin, so always use a moisturizer that minimizes dryness and skin peeling. Look for "noncomedogenic" on the label, which means it should not cause acne.  There are moisturizers made for oily, dry, or combination skin.
3. Try an over-the-counter acne product. These acne products don't need a prescription. They may have ingredients such as benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid, glycolic acid, or lactic acid, which curb bacteria and dry your skin. Start with a small amount at first. Then you can adjust how much you use and how often, depending on how much peeling or drying you have. Use these products with caution if you have sensitive skin.
4. Use makeup sparingly. During a breakout, avoid wearing foundation, powder, or blush. If you do wear makeup, wash it off at the end of the day. If possible, choose oil-free cosmetics without added dyes and chemicals. Choose makeup that is labeled as "noncomedogenic," meaning it should not cause acne. Read the ingredients list on the product label before buying.
5. Watch what you put on your hair. Avoid using fragrances, oils, pomades, or gels on your hair. If they get on your face, they can block your skin's pores and irritate your skin. Use a gentle shampoo and conditioner. Oily hair can add to the oil on your face, so wash your hair often, especially if you're breaking out. Got long hair? Keep it pulled away from your face.

My Small Lush Collection

This is going to be a small post about my Lush collection. As you can tell its very small but I still think it's worthy enough to share haha.
So in the picture you can see this purple powder. It doesn't come in the powder... When I bought it I accidentally dropped it but either way I wasn't bothered because it still worked. Its called the THE LORD OF MISRULE.

For Christmas I got the big green bath bomb from my little sister which came obviously in the green bag but I threw out the bag when I put it in my box so I'm unsure what the name is but I think it might be called shooting star or something like that. In the second photo you will see what this product looks like after you have used it a few times. I personally think this is my best lush product that I have used so far.

The other bath bomb is shaped as a present and I haven't used it yet but I really like the look of it. The reason why it has the blue and purple bit is I used some of the powder from the Lord Of Misrule bomb and put it on top just to make it more colourful and I really like it like that. Its called Golden Wonder.

The little bar of soap I got for free by the lovely ladies at the till. I haven't used it yet because the packaging just looks really cute but I got the Honey I washed the kids soap bar.

I decided to update this small post because the picture wasn't loading and also I got a few new things.

The next thing I got is this lovely bath bomb. You can clearly see how beautiful the bright pink, dark purple, medium purple and a light purple colour around the centre but in the centre is a cute little rose. I haven't used this product yet but it smells amazing and I can't wait to use it. I can't seem to find this products name.

The next thing I got is this adorable little New Lush Charity Pot which is Hand and Body Lotion. I have used it yet but it looks amazing and I have heard good things about it. It actually doesnt smell of anything which I like.

The last thing I have to show you guys is this small Fresh Handmade Cosmetic product. I don't actually know what it does but I think it might be a shampoo because it says shampoo in small writing around the package but I just don't see how this could be a shampoo but I really like it and it smells of the love heart sweets but a lemon version. This is called Baked Alaska Snowball.

The one thing which is missing from the picture is the smashed up purple powder which was THE LORD OF MISRULE but sadly I ran out of it and the green bath bomb is currently in the green package because its been used twice so now its scrambled up.  This is a photo of my box before I got all these new products and a photo of after. I really like lush as do many people around the world and for anyone who has never heard or used Lush products before I recommend these things.

What to bring to the GYM?

Today I am going to blog about what I would bring to the gym. I go to the gyms on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays but it wouldn't be fair to say I always go on these days because I don't always go. So in the picture you will see my spots bag and what's inside. So inside my spots bag is;

          • USA Pro knee cut leggings - The reason I like them is the fact they are stretchy and they are really comfortable to wear but normally I would wear just plain black leggings which you can get anywhere but you don't have to wear leggings, it can be anything you feel comfortable in.
• I have two Karrimor sports tops in my bag because normally I can't decide. One is a short sleaved white top and the other is a black long sleaved top which is good of you aren't feeling as comfortable with a short sleeves top. It obviously doesn't have to be a sports top, just a top you feel comfortable in.
• I have a pair of EVERLAST trainers but sometimes if they're in the wash I wear my roshe runs but my proper trainers feel more comfortable and they feel as if they have padding in them which supports my feet but just any shoes that you feel comfortable in you should wear.

Now the next three Items that I have are just small things that I would normally take to the gym but some people would think its unnecessarily.

• A water bottle. A water bottle is something I personally think everyone should bring because when you have been working hard and you get thirsty you tend to focus on the fact you are thirsty and you don't do as well. You can easily buy a water bottle on the go but this way is much cheaper if you have a bottle already.
• Facial wipes. This might seem a bit weird but bringing wipes would actually help your skin because if you have been sweating and you wipe your face with a hand towel or something then you just wipe around you will feel more clean.
• small towel. Just bringing a small towel would be good if you just sweat you could just wipe it away
• Deodorant. Now bringing deodorant is pretty self explanatory but if you have been working hard you might possibly stink so just bring that to spray and that should help.

These aren't necessarily thing other people would bring to the gym but these are things I would bring to the gym but I normally go after school so half these items I wouldn't be able to fit in my school bag but if I was to go on the weekend that is what I would bring. I hope this inspires some people just in case they were thinking of joining the gym and didn't know what to wear or bring.

Lush BB SEAWEED Fresh Face Mask

The BB SEAWEED Fresh Face Mask is one of the best masks I have ever used for my skin. Its relaxing, reviving and calming. It has little chunks of fresh nutritious SEAWEED,  kaopin, antiseptic honey, aloe vera and rose absolute which makes this a great mask for everyone. The reason why I like it is because it works wonders on my skin, my skin is full of spots and other blemishes but since I have been using this face mask it has been reducing the amount of spots I have. When you open up the lid you notice its not like any other face mask you see, that's mainly due to the little chunks of seaweed you get. When you put your fingers in, it feels lumpy and really thick which I don't really like because when you first use it, it doesn't really feel relaxing but after you get use
d to it, it is and as you all know, lush face masks are handmade.

How to use - take out of the fridge, apply a generous layer over the face, avoiding the eyes. Leave on for 5 to 10 minutes, then gently scrub off with warm water.

The one thing I don't really like about this product is that you have to keep it in the fridge or else it will go off and it would be a waste of money but otherwise I recommend buy this because its worth the money.
